What started as a dream over three years ago has finally come to life — a family collaboration built on our shared love for the coast and the simple, relaxed lifestyle that comes with it. I'm Julie, and alongside my daughter Nickie (a lawyer) and my son Luke (a computer engineer), we've poured our hearts into creating something that feels like home: timeless, coastal-inspired clothing made for comfort, quality, and connection.

We live between Cooks Beach, Whangamatā, and Ōhope Beach — three of New Zealand's most iconic coastal spots. Each place holds a piece of our story. Mornings filled with surf, long walks on golden sand, and evenings watching the sun sink into the horizon — these are the moments that inspire every design.

For me, Salty Surf & Co. is about more than just clothing. It's about celebrating the lifestyle we love — slow days, salty hair, and that feeling of belonging to something bigger than yourself: the ocean. Every piece we create is made with care using the best materials we could find — right here in New Zealand.
